My inspiration for block carving came from a trip to Hawaii to visit family.

Block carving is a traditional art there.

Block carving is one of the most relaxing art forms I have ever done.

The first time I tried block carving I found it incredibly challenging.

Lucky for me I switched to a sweet rubber-substitute before my hand got impaled!
